MusicCanvas does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics services and no third-party SDKs. The app does not connect to any server of ours.
Drawings, songs and settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Exports (video, audio, MIDI, ringtones) are created on your device and only leave it when you choose to share or save them.
If you use “Hum → Draw”, the microphone is used to detect the pitch of your humming in real time on your device. No audio is recorded or stored.
Photos you pick for “Music from Photo” or as a canvas background are processed on your device. Saving a video to Photos uses add-only access.
If you start “Draw Together”, the strokes and genre of the shared canvas are sent through Apple’s SharePlay only to the people in your FaceTime call. Nothing is sent to us.
Daily theme reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.
Because no data is collected, MusicCanvas is safe for all ages.
