Khatm AI — Legal & Support

Terms of Use

Application: Khatm AI Effective date: 9 August 2026 Last updated: 9 August 2026

By downloading or using Khatm AI (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

Khatm AI is provided free of charge. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the rules of the store you obtained it from.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app; modify, decompile, or reverse engineer it except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits; or remove or obscure any attribution, copyright, or licence notice it displays.

2. No account, no purchases

The app requires no account and no registration. Every mode — reading, listening, learning, tafsir and translation — is free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertising.

3. Voice features

The app’s reading mode uses the device microphone to follow your recitation. Recognition runs entirely on the device; audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Speech recognition is probabilistic. It may fail to recognise a correctly recited verse or accept an incorrectly recited one, particularly in noisy environments, with unfamiliar recitation styles, or at unusual speeds. The verse-tracking feedback is a study aid, not a verification of correctness, and must not be treated as religious instruction or as confirmation that a recitation is valid.

4. Religious content and third-party works

The app presents the Quranic text together with tafsir, translation, and recitation works produced by third parties. These works are reproduced from public datasets and are attributed in the app under Settings → Sources & licenses and in third-party-notices.md.

We make no claim of authorship over, and accept no responsibility for the doctrinal content of, third-party commentary and translation. Interpretations differ between scholars and schools; users seeking religious guidance should consult a qualified scholar.

We take the integrity of the Quranic text seriously. If you find an error in the text, recitation, or translation presented in the app, please report it to the support address in section 11 so it can be corrected.

5. Downloaded content

Tafsir and translation books are downloaded, at your request, from a third-party public dataset. We do not control that dataset and cannot guarantee its continued availability, completeness, or accuracy. Downloaded content is stored on your device and is removed when you delete it or uninstall the app.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to interfere with its operation or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others.

7. Availability and changes

The app is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, including features that depend on third-party datasets or audio hosts. Because the core reading experience is fully offline, it continues to function regardless of network availability.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that its recognition results will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted.

10. Third-party terms

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store from which you obtained it. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law rules, and without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protection afforded by the law of your place of residence.
